The new logo for SYM Europe
The Salesian Youth Movement Europe has a new logo !
A year after the project was launched and after months of voting, finally, we have chosen the new logo :
This logo comes directly from Portugal, a big applause to the designer Sara M C Silva.
What is the significance of the logo?
The design of the Proposal, Came From The Whole Between Three essential elements
(identified by zones):
1. At the base, we see the Areas where the action unfolds, that is, the groups and associations. In general we refer to: music, theater, sport and moments of reflection /prayer.
2. The center (water and formation of circles) symbolizes movement, vibration,
human action, experimentation, in Which There are new elements to the top,’celebrating’.
3. The top portion, are symbolically represents individuals / people / countries, with a Christian identity, coming from the Same center (origin) in Ways that emerge That Amount, color, Optimism, the result of the movement – Christian spirituality.
What is the purpose of this logo?
This logo will identify the coordination of SYM Europe in our communications (letters of invitations, emails, websites, publishing newsletters, post Confronto,…)
The purpose of this logo is to have a new representation of the Salesian Youth Movement in Europe.
Should the new logo should replace the logo of your country?
Not at all. Each country retains its logo. It is not necessary to use this logo for your country.
However, for countries that do not yet have their logo, it is possible to draw inspiration from this.
Thank you !
We will soon send you more information on our website and an interview with the designer.
See you soon.
